1936 - 2016
Our founding partner, Paul E. Braunlich held a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1959 and was admitted to the Federal Bar in 1965.

Mr. Braunlich started his private practice in 1959, representing clients in the fields of criminal law, domestic relations, real estate, probate and in various areas of municipal practice. He represented the City of Monroe, then County of Monroe as Legal Advisor from 1964 to 1989. Mr. Braunlich was also the attorney for the Village of Dundee, Estral Beach, and Berlin Township from 1970 to 1989. He served as Michigan Public Administrator from 1977 to 1989, In 1989, Mr. Braunlich was appointed District Judge and served in that capacity until 2002. He returned to private practice in 2002 until the time of his death in July 2016.
Brittany Braunlich was raised in Monroe County and graduated from St. Mary Catholic Central. Brittany holds a B.A. from Michigan State University and her Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Brittany was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2013. She previously clerked for the Honorable Daniel S. White in the Monroe County Circuit Court from 2012-2013. She previously served on the Board for Women Empowering Women (Paula's House) from 2015-2019.
